Isabella Sophia began painting hearts at just three years old—at a time when words weren’t yet possible. Born with DiGeorge syndrome (22q11), a rare genetic condition, she faced numerous medical challenges, including open-heart surgery during her first year of life.
Fed through a G-Tube for over six years, Isabella couldn’t speak clearly, but art became her most powerful form of communication. Her hands became her voice, and hearts her language.
With acrylics, tempera, textures, and curiosity, each brushstroke said:
“I’m alive, I’m here, and I have something to share.”
Today, she has created more than 300 unique hearts.
She often says, “I can’t see the heart, but I can feel it.”
Each one holds a story, a miracle, and a living emotion.

Hand-Painted Hearts
Each of Isabella's hearts is more than just a painting — it’s a personal experience, a story of growth, healing, and wonder.
She uses acrylics, tempera, and textures that spark her curiosity and invite exploration. What began as a playful sensory activity at the age of three became a powerful form of therapy — helping her embrace textures and emotions during her medical journey with a G-Tube.
Colors, shapes, and materials were never random. Her mother, Ybsul, lovingly guided her through the beauty of color combinations and artistic freedom. Through paint, Isabella found her focus, her joy, and her voice.

Symbolic Masterpieces
Every heart Isabella paints holds more than color—it holds meaning.
From the beginning, each artwork has included two key symbols that define her story and intention:

Painting became her way of learning through experience. For Isabella, art is not only about what you see—it’s about what you feel, believe, and live.

What started as a playful request — “Heart, heart, mommy!” — became a constant. Her family soon realized this wasn’t just a phase, but a natural form of expression.
At six years old, she was invited to her first art fair for children. It was there that her paintings were sold for the first time. Watching people connect to her art — without even knowing her story — revealed something powerful:

From that moment, Isabella’s creative voice found its path.
Since then, she has participated in auctions to support foundations and causes that inspire her. At just seven years old, she is already exploring a world where her artwork is reaching new audiences — people who value art and connect deeply with her journey.
As her mother, I know something very clearly:
Isabella doesn’t know she’s “different” — she simply is who she is.
When a child is born with a condition, they don’t compare themselves to others — they explore the world from their own truth.
That’s why, as a family, we made a choice: to offer her options, not limitations.
To walk beside her so she can build a life full of joy, experiences, confidence, self-love, respect, and the excitement of truly living.

Hi,
To be honest, my art is part of my joy — a playful and heartfelt way to express myself. I have a very clear vision in my heart and mind:
I want my hearts to travel the world.
We’re open to hearing proposals, ideas, and opportunities to expand this mission with intention and impact.
Since I was in my mommy’s belly (with daddy always by her side), they both knew this journey would be a team effort. There are things they can’t do for me, but they’ve always stood by my side. Learning to walk, eat, and speak has taken therapies, professionals, and above all, my own willpower.
That’s why we believe in partnerships where all parts benefit — because that’s the true balance of life.
My life is full of challenges, but we choose to live it from a place of possibility — where faith, God, and perseverance are the true differentiators.
